June 2020 Market Update - Cleveland County, NC

The Cleveland County housing market sees positive numbers for the month of June.

2020 has been an interesting year in the world of Real Estate. Although we are still at historic lows in terms of inventory, we are starting to see the market trend positively, as the industry begins to recover from the effects of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

Across the region, the numbers are uneven amongst the 16 counties, but Cleveland County had a full recovery (**pre-pandemic levels) of pending contracts, home sales and new listings.  This activity shows us that buyer demand is up - an encouraging sign for recovery.  Pending sales for Cleveland County were up 93.1% compared to June 2019.  112 properties were pending in June 2020 versus 58 in June 2019.  Below you will find an infographic provided by FastStats via Canopy MLS that shows key identifiers for the Cleveland County housing market.
